Radio Helderberg 15^th Birthday Breakfast Competition

On Wednesday, 21 July 2010, 3 lucky listeners and their partners as well as 3 lucky presenters, were treated to a sumptuous, gourmet breakfast prepared by Executive Chef Daniel Botha of the Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa in Franschhoek. Daniel and Richard arrived bright and early at 6am to prepare the feast. The Radio Helderberg kitchen was temporarily transformed into a hive of activity, and soon the smell of freshly percolating coffee and toasted croissants let the lucky few know that they were in for a unique treat. The breakfast feast included oysters, muesli with honey and yoghurt, croissants served with scrambled eggs, salmon and wild rocket and champagne to toast a great start to the day.

Lucky winners, Marti & Schalk van Wyk, Rita and Jochem Neumann and Jannie du Toit enjoyed their breakfast with Radio Helderberg presenters Patricia McNaught-Davis, Julia Bouch and Don Lawrence.
